Terms of Service

Effective date: June 29, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Tailr, including the candidate job matching experience, resume and cover letter generation tools, application tracking, employer job posting tools, and related websites, emails, and services. By creating an account or using Tailr, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you create an employer account or act on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to use Tailr for that company.

Candidate services

Tailr helps candidates discover jobs, compare match signals, parse resumes, generate tailored application materials, save or dismiss jobs, and track application progress. Match scores, insights, generated resumes, cover letters, and other AI-assisted outputs are informational tools. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you submit to an employer.

Tailr does not guarantee job availability, interviews, offers, employment, salary, immigration eligibility, or employer response. Job data may come from employers, public job boards, ATS feeds, imported links, or other third-party sources and may change without notice.

Employer services

Employer accounts may create company profiles, post jobs, invite team members, review submitted applications, and update applicant pipeline status. Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their postings, communications, hiring criteria, and hiring decisions.

Employers may not use Tailr to post fake roles, collect resumes for unrelated purposes, request unlawful information, discriminate unlawfully, or make employment decisions based solely on an automated score or AI-generated summary. Tailr may remove postings or restrict employer access when we believe the service is being misused.

Your content

You keep ownership of resumes, profile information, company content, job postings, application materials, notes, and other content you submit to Tailr. You grant Tailr a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and transform that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload or submit content to Tailr. Do not upload confidential, regulated, or sensitive information unless it is necessary for your use of the service and you are authorized to provide it.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically on the cadence shown during checkout unless you cancel first. Billing is processed by PayPal or another payment provider shown at checkout. Tailr does not store full payment card or bank details. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your account page when that option is available. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact refunds@tailr.us with the email address on your account and a description of the issue.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Tailr or help anyone else misuse it. This includes:

• Using Tailr for unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, or abusive hiring or job-seeking activity.
• Scraping, crawling, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass access controls or paywalls.
• Uploading malware, spam, infringing content, or content you do not have rights to use.
• Overloading the service, abusing AI generation endpoints, or attempting to extract models or prompts.
• Impersonating another person or company, posting fake jobs, or misrepresenting qualifications.

AI and third-party services

Tailr uses AI and automation to parse resumes, create embeddings, score job fit, generate application materials, summarize fit signals, and support employer workflows. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your situation. You should independently review output before relying on it.

Tailr integrates with third-party services for infrastructure, authentication, storage, email, payments, job data, and AI processing. Third-party websites, job boards, ATS systems, and payment flows are governed by their own terms and policies.

Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account from account settings. Tailr may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, or use the service in a way that could harm Tailr, candidates, employers, or third parties. Some records may be retained when required for legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

Privacy

Tailr's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain personal information. By using Tailr, you agree that we may process your information as described in that policy.

Service changes

Tailr may add, remove, or modify features, limits, pricing, job sources, AI models, or access rules over time. We may update these terms by posting a revised version. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service or by email.

Disclaimers

Tailr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailr disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation. Tailr is not a recruiter, employment agency, law firm, financial advisor, or immigration advisor.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, business interruption, or employment outcomes. Tailr's total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Tailr in the three months before the claim or $100.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Tailr from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the company operating Tailr is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.
